Centre for Research in Arts and Aesthetics (CRAE)
Research unit - UR 4291
The CRAE brings together researchers in visual arts, cinema, theatre, art history, aesthetics (arts, literature, philosophy) and archaeology.
Our unit allows fruitful circulations from one field of research to another. As several of our members are artists, curators, film-makers and playwrights, the CRAE is strongly involved in activities that combine theoretical research and creative practice.
In this way, it emphasises the importance of links with society and the need for scientific mediation on a national and international scale.
To highlight its research areas and activities, the CRAE has an internationally peer-reviewed scientific journal, founded in 2013, entitled Tetrade: 🡭
